Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 18, 2026

VP Music Creations LLC, operating as VP School of Music (“we,” “us,” or “our”), respects the privacy of students, parents, guardians, and website visitors. This policy explains how we handle personal information in connection with our website, lesson inquiries, enrollment, communications, and music instruction.

We offer lessons at our Miami studio, online through Zoom, and at students' homes where that service is arranged.

Privacy contact: info@vpschoolofmusic.com
Business location: Miami, Florida, United States.

1. Information we collect

Lesson inquiries. When you submit the trial inquiry form, we collect the student's name and age; the parent or guardian's name when the student is under 18; and the appropriate adult's email address and telephone number. The form also requests an area or ZIP code, program and subject interests, experience level, preferred lesson length and trial format, and preferred days and times. You may choose to include musical goals or additional information.

The form asks the sender to confirm that they are an adult student or the student's parent or legal guardian. It does not request payment card details, account passwords, or file uploads.

Enrollment and lesson arrangements. We use the information you provide to arrange instruction and maintain relevant scheduling and enrollment records, including your selected lesson format, duration, and billing option: Single Lessons or a Monthly Lesson Plan. If you choose lessons at your home, we will need the lesson address and relevant access instructions to provide that service. We do not publish students' home addresses.

Assisted payment entry. When payment services are available, the school's administration may receive and handle payment card details provided by the cardholder for authorized entry into the designated payment portal, as described in Section 3. These details are used to set up the authorized payment method and facilitate authorized payments.

Communications. We receive information you share when contacting the school by telephone, text message, or email, including questions about lessons, scheduling, and billing.

Online lessons. Zoom processes information needed for a live lesson, which may include a participant's display name, live audio and video, messages they share, and connection or device information. VP School of Music does not record lessons. Zoom's processing is also described in its Privacy Statement.

Technical information. Website and communications providers may process technical information, such as IP addresses, browser or device details, access times, and delivery or connection logs, to provide and protect their services. The trial form also uses temporary information to prevent spam, repeated requests, and duplicate submissions.

Please avoid including unnecessary sensitive information in the inquiry form or ordinary messages. Payment card numbers and security codes should be entered only in the designated payment portal when it becomes available.

2. How we use information

We use relevant personal information to:

  • Respond to inquiries and arrange introductory lessons.
  • Coordinate enrollment, scheduling, lesson locations, and instruction.
  • Communicate with adult students, parents, and legal guardians.
  • Administer invoices, authorized payments, and billing questions when payment services are enabled.
  • Prevent misuse, protect our services, and resolve technical problems.
  • Maintain necessary business records and respond to applicable legal obligations or disputes.

The school's authorized administration manages personal information for these purposes. Access is limited according to the information needed to perform the relevant work.

3. My Music Staff, Monthly Lesson Plans, and payment information

My Music Staff is our designated platform for scheduling, student administration, and billing, with Stripe as our designated payment processor through the My Music Staff integration.

Once enabled, parents, legal guardians, or adult students may enter their payment information directly through the portal link provided by the school. Alternatively, the school's administration may enter payment card details into the designated payment portal on the cardholder's behalf, with the cardholder's authorization. Administrative entry involves handling the payment details needed to complete that step.

For a Monthly Lesson Plan, an authorized saved payment method will be used for recurring monthly charges. Permission for the administration to enter card details does not, by itself, authorize recurring charges. Authorization for recurring payments will be obtained separately through the enrollment or payment setup process.

The school's administration will use the billing and transaction information made available by those services to administer the selected plan, manage invoices and payment status, and respond to billing questions. This may include invoice amounts, payment dates and status, and payment-method identifiers supplied by the service. The exact information available to the administration depends on the provider and configuration selected. The public website's trial inquiry form does not collect payment card details.

Once payment services are enabled, Stripe will process payment details and related billing and transaction information to facilitate payments, prevent fraud, and meet applicable obligations. For information about Stripe's handling of personal information, see Stripe's Privacy Policy. The handling of saved payment methods and the information available to the administration will depend on the enabled configuration.

Submitting a complimentary trial inquiry does not enroll you in a paid plan or authorize charges. This privacy policy explains how information is handled; accepting or acknowledging it does not itself authorize payment. Prices, renewal and billing terms, and the process for stopping recurring payments will be presented separately during enrollment or payment setup. Lesson cancellation and make-up arrangements are addressed in the school's lesson policies.

4. Service providers and disclosures

We use service providers to operate the website, deliver and receive messages, arrange lessons, and administer the school. These include:

  • Lovable: website hosting and the trial form's email delivery service.
  • Email and telephone service providers: receiving and sending communications with students and families.
  • My Music Staff: the planned scheduling, student administration, and billing portal described above.
  • Stripe: payment processing through the My Music Staff integration once configured, as described in Section 3 and Stripe's Privacy Policy.
  • Zoom: live online lessons.
  • Google Fonts: loading the website's typography. These requests provide Google with technical connection information, including an IP address and browser information.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile: the security check on the trial form, used only to tell real visitors from automated abuse. It processes technical signals such as an IP address, browser and device characteristics, and interaction data, and it may read or write a Cloudflare challenge identifier in your browser for this purpose. It is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking. See Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Policy.

We provide service providers with information relevant to their functions. Providers may also handle information under their own privacy terms and applicable legal requirements. Their services may process information in locations outside your state or country.

We may disclose information when required by applicable law or valid legal process, or when reasonably necessary to address fraud, protect safety, or establish or defend legal rights.

5. Website features and storage

The public website does not currently include advertising pixels or embedded maps, videos, chat, or social media widgets. Google Fonts is loaded externally, and the trial form includes a Cloudflare Turnstile security check that runs only on that form and is used solely to prevent automated abuse. Hosting and other service providers may still process operational and security information.

Trial inquiries are delivered by email rather than stored in a website database. This means inquiry information exists in the school's email records and in the email service's delivery systems. Delivery event logs may also be retained by the service provider.

Temporary anti-abuse records used by the trial form are held in server memory and expire after short periods. They are separate from inquiry emails and provider logs.

Information provided through My Music Staff, payment services, or Zoom is handled in those systems when those services are used. Their portals and applications may use cookies or similar technologies under their own privacy notices.

6. Children's information

Our inquiry and enrollment processes are intended to be handled by adult students or, for students under 18, a parent or legal guardian. Parents and guardians provide the child information needed to arrange and administer lessons, including for children under 13.

Children should not submit payment information or complete the public inquiry form independently. Parents and guardians may contact the administration to ask about the information held about their child, request access, corrections or deletion, ask that further collection or use stop, or discuss the child's participation in online lessons. We may need to verify the requester's identity and authority; withholding information needed for a service may affect whether that service can continue.

Online instruction involves live interaction and the handling of participant information through Zoom, as described above. Where applicable law requires additional parental notice or consent, that process must take place before the relevant collection or use. A form checkbox or acknowledgment of this policy does not replace any additional consent required by law.

7. How long information is kept

Inquiries that do not lead to enrollment: our policy is to delete the inquiry records under our control six months after the last contact, unless a specific legal obligation or an active dispute requires longer retention.

Enrolled students and billing records: we retain relevant information while needed to provide lessons, administer the account, and meet applicable accounting, legal, or dispute-related requirements. The six-month inquiry period does not apply to these records. We review records for deletion when they are no longer needed for those purposes.

Service providers may retain delivery logs, transaction records, backups, or technical records for their own applicable retention periods. Deleting an email or portal record does not necessarily immediately remove all provider-held copies.

8. Your choices and requests

You may contact info@vpschoolofmusic.com to ask about your personal information or request access, correction, or deletion. Parents and legal guardians may make requests concerning their child's information.

We may need to verify identity or authority before providing information or acting on a request. Requests are handled in accordance with applicable law, including any relevant retention obligations. Depending on where you live and the law that applies, additional privacy rights may be available.

You may also ask the administration to update your communication preferences. We may still need to communicate essential information about lessons, scheduling, or payments. Choosing not to provide information needed for a particular service may prevent us from providing that service.

9. Security

We use safeguards designed to protect personal information and limit access to authorized purposes. The inquiry form includes server-side validation and measures to limit spam and repeated submissions. No website, email service, or storage system can guarantee complete security.

Please contact the administration if you believe information associated with the school has been accessed or used without authorization.

10. Updates and contact

We may update this policy when our services or information practices change. The effective date will reflect the version in effect. We will provide additional notice or obtain consent when required by applicable law.
